Firstly.... here's what typically goes on behind the scenes

Exhibition Manager's Diary:

29th June 2012:  Reflecting on a successful, busy show and firstly I must thank all of our visitors and it was a pleasure showing some of you around. Our visitor numbers were up again and it is gratifying to know that the show we bring to you is so well received.  The layouts we presented this year all worked well and showed how diverse the hobby has become and again thanks to the crews who came from all over the UK; also to the traders who put on such wonderful, tempting displays. Given that we thought we were on a safe bet in having our show in June regarding risks due to weather, the good old British summer intervened again and some of our guests had terrible journeys due to rain and thunder storms from Carlisle to Stirling. So special thanks to those who braved the conditions on the motorways and our thoughts especially to the one who had to call-off.  The trophy winners will be added to this site within a few days along with the presentation photos. Meanwhile, have a good summer and I will have a short break before turning my thoughts to 2013 show!  Enthusiastic always!  SM
